When subtitles are out of sync, move the whole timeline, rescale it by a ratio, or fix it with two anchor points. It can also merge lines that were split apart, and split ones that run too long.
Shifting moves every cue without changing how long each one stays on screen. Rescaling multiplies both ends, so cue length changes with it - handy between 24 and 25 fps. The two-point fix handles files that are both offset and running at the wrong speed. Times that come out negative are clamped to zero, and the tool tells you how many were affected. Same format in, same format out - no conversion, and ASS styles, per-line styling and effect tags are kept exactly as they were. Bilingual cues stay on two lines when merged and are skipped when splitting.
Anyone whose subtitles drift after a source change, run slightly fast or slow, or came from someone working at a different frame rate.
